The Mozaffarian Heritage — A Legacy of Seven Generations

It was in 1821, amidst the tranquil valleys of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, that the Mozaffarian legacy first came to life.

A master horologist, Monsieur Favre, was invited under royal patronage to Persia, entrusted with the creation of majestic clock towers and commissioned as the royal watchmaker and jeweller to the court.

During his years in Persia, his admiration grew beyond craft — he became deeply enamoured with the country’s culture, poetry, and beauty, and with a Persian lady whose grace captured his heart. Their union became the bridge between two worlds, and from this love, the name Mozaffarian, meaning “Victorious,” was born.

From Timepieces to Timeless Jewels Guided by artistry, passion, and perfection, the family’s mastery evolved from the meticulous art of Swiss watchmaking to the timeless elegance of fine jewellery. In Tehran’s historic Grand Bazaar, the Mozaffarian name became a hallmark of excellence and refinement — a name whispered with admiration by collectors and connoisseurs alike. Each creation carried the harmony of East and West, where precision met poetry, and craft became emotion. An Enduring Legacy of Art and Soul Over seven generations, the Mozaffarian heritage has flourished, expanding from Switzerland to Persia, and today, the name Mozaffarian can be found in almost forty cities around the world — a symbol of timeless artistry recognised across continents. In 2002, Azalia Mozaffarian, the seventh generation of this distinguished lineage, began her journey in the world of fine jewellery. Having completed professional courses in gemology and coloured stones, she refined her skills within her family’s atelier, where heritage and craftsmanship are a way of life. With time, Azalia carried this profound legacy forward, continuing her family’s timeless philosophy — to create jewels that embody soul, precision, and elegance. Every creation under the Azalia Mozaffarian name reflects not only her mastery, but the enduring spirit of a family whose art has been shaped by seven generations of passion, refinement, and love.
